The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph pays tribute to French watchmaker Nicolas Rieussec, who invented the inking chronograph, patented in 1821, thus leaving an indelible mark on the history of fine watchmaking.

The watch is powered by the iconic Manufacture monopusher chronograph movement, the self-winding MB R200 caliber with a column-wheel mechanism visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. The caliber is equipped with a pair of barrels capable of storing enough energy for a 72-hour power reserve. Functions: Hours, Minutes. Chronograph with 60-second and 30-minute counters; Dual Time function with day/night indicator; date disc.

Steel case with a diameter of 44.8 mm. Fixed steel bezel. The blue dial features two horizontally aligned rotating discs—one for the 60-second chronograph counter, the other for the 30-minute counter—which rotate beneath a fixed double index, like the original device. Both subdials and the off-center hour and minute ring are domed for a captivating three-dimensional effect.
