Automatic mechanical movement Vacheron Constantin Caliber 1126 with an arched retrograde date. The hand advances one increment each day until the 31st, where at midnight it instantly springs back to its starting point. This backward jump gives this mechanical 'complication' its name. At 6 o'clock, a small subsidiary dial indicates the day of the week with a continuous hand.
Round white gold case with a polished finish, 37 mm in diameter. Stepped bezel and fluted lugs that elegantly adapt to the wrist.
Elegant dial with a splendid geometric guilloché pattern, featuring even Roman numerals alternated with applied indices for the odd hours.
Sapphire crystal.
White gold case back secured by screws with a large sapphire crystal opening revealing the oscillating weight with an external segment of solid 21-carat gold.
Unoriginal strap.
White gold ardillon buckle with the Maltese Cross, the historical symbol of Vacheron Constantin.
