An interesting and very delicate pivot repair for a Patek Philippe wristwatch.

An unpleasant surprise was to find one pivot of the escape wheel broken off.

To demonstrate just how miniscule the dimension we see the wheel next to a Euro cent. The pivot to be turn was just 7 hundredths of a millimeter…..the thickness of a strand of hair.

The first step was to produce a sort of cannon extension to be used later on. To the right in the photo one can see the pivot drill.
